(FWA 2025/10/24) The NT$10,000 cash handout website is now officially online for the public to check relevant information. There are five collection methods: “Online Registration,” “ATM Withdrawal,” “Post Office Pickup,” “Direct Deposit,” and “In-Person Registration (by designated groups).” Pre-registration is scheduled to open on November 5. Individuals who already receive regular government allowances or pensions, such as labor insurance, national pension, or elderly farmer allowances, do not need to register and will receive the direct deposit on November 12.

Eligibility for this cash handout includes: ROC nationals with current household registration, government personnel stationed abroad on official business (and their ROC national dependents), spouses of ROC nationals from mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, or foreign countries who have obtained residency permits, and foreign nationals who have obtained permanent residence permits.

The cash handout promotional website (https://10000.gov.tw) officially went live at 8:00 PM on the 23rd. By clicking “Click to see details,” the public can find information on “Who is eligible,” “How to collect,” “FAQ,” “Latest News & Regulations,” “Anti-Fraud Section,” and “Donation Information.” A 5-day pre-registration period is scheduled to open on November 5, with general registration opening on November 10. ATM withdrawals and over-the-counter post office pickups are expected to open on November 17 and November 24, respectively.

The “Direct Deposit” method applies to the same recipients as the 2023 cash handout program. This includes recipients of Labor Insurance Pension, Occupational Hazard Insurance Pension, National Pension (including indigenous benefits), Elderly Farmer Allowance, Farmer Retirement Savings, Labor Pension (monthly payments), Disability Living Allowance, Low-Income Elderly Living Allowance, institutionalized children and youth, and state-funded veterans. These individuals do not need to take any registration or application action and are expected to receive the funds directly into their personal accounts on November 12.

The Ministry of Finance emphasizes that the government will never send text messages or emails notifying the public to claim money or register. The National Police Agency also reminds the public of the “Four No’s” of fraud prevention: (1) “Do not click” unofficial URLs; (2) “Do not enter” credit card information or verification codes; (3) “Do not send” passbooks, ATM cards, or passwords; and (4) “Do not forward” unknown links or text messages. If you encounter a suspicious website or message, please call the 165 Anti-Fraud Hotline immediately. Let’s work together to prevent fraud.
