Winners who consolidated their carriers before the draw can claim prizes via the Ministry of Finance Redemption APP and save NT$40,000 in stamp duty. For those holding paper invoices, please claim your prize at physical locations such as First Bank, Chang Hwa Bank, the Agricultural Bank of Taiwan, the Kinmen Credit Cooperative, or the Lienchiang County Farmers’ Association Credit Department within the redemption period.
To prevent missing out on prizes in the future, the Ministry of Finance urges the public to download the official Redemption APP. By applying for a mobile barcode and binding various carriers (such as membership cards or utility bills paid via mobile payment) to the app, users can consolidate their records. Setting up a bank account within the app ensures that any winnings are deposited directly, preventing unclaimed prize situations like those listed above.
Expats and foreign nationals in Taiwan can also utilize the Redemption APP. Simply apply for a mobile barcode to consolidate carriers (like EasyCard or iPass), track spending, and donate invoices. The app automatically checks for prizes and transfers winnings directly to your bank account. If claiming in person, please present your Passport or Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) as valid identification.
