Halal Bazaar : 11:00–17:00

Starting from Entrance 9 of Daan Park, the market features a variety of Muslim culture-themed stalls — enjoy international dishes, shop for cultural items, and explore everyday aspects of Muslim life.

Bring your own eco-friendly tableware to enjoy an NT$5 discount in cash for a single meal purchase of NT$100 (non-accumulative).

Cultural Experience Area : 11:00 –17:15 (Based on session times)

Three themed workshops to help citizens explore Muslim multiculturalism.

  • Islamic Calligraphy Experience: Feel the picturesque beauty of the art of Islamic Calligraphy from the fluent brushwork and elegant lines. Experience the structure and writing features of the Arabic alphabet and appreciate the cultural charisma in detail. (11:00-17:00. No registration required. Walk-ins welcome. Availability is limited)

  • Turkish Ebru Art Experience: Turkish Ebru is a traditional art that has been passed down over centuries. Pigments are dripped on the surface of water to create patterns and allow colors to naturally flow and intertwine. They are ultimately transferred and printed on paper to complete unique works. (11:50-17:00. 5 sessions, 10 people per session. Registration in advance is required.)

  • Ketupat Charm DIY workshop: Ketupat is a significant symbol of the Eid al-Fitr Festival for Muslims in Southeast Asia. Rice is wrapped inside a knitted cover, with a meaning of appreciation and reunion. Experience the good wishes of the festival and the cultural meaning by hand-making the charm with the image of Ketupat. (11:45-17:15. 6 sessions, 10 people per session. Registration in advance is required.)

    ※At present, the Turkish Ebru Art Experience and Ketupat Charm DIY workshop have recorded full enrollment. The standby enrollment will become available for each session from 11:00 to 14:00 on March 22, the event day.

From the Archipelago to Taipei: A Cultural Experience Area for Migrant Workers and Local Communities

The Taipei City Foreign and Disabled Labor Office will jointly celebrate the “Eid-al-Fitr Festival” with Muslim friends at Exit 4 of Daan Park. “Introduction to Indonesia’s Major Island Groups,” will be the subject of the activity. There will be interactive booths that are intellectual and engaging, encouraging migrant workers and nationals to respect others through understanding, to achieve cultural inclusiveness and common wellness. Participate in the activity to win a small gift, while stocks last! Feel free to join!

Taipei Halal Partner Stores Point Reward Program

Point collection method:

You may get one point, two points, or three points for each entry with consumption that reaches NT$100, NT$200, or NT$300 at a Halal partner stores during the event period, from March 16 to March 31. The cap for point collection at a single store is three points. You can collect points from different stores. Collect three points to receive a metal bookmark. On the event day of the 2026 Eid-al-Fitr in Taipei celebration on March 22, present your card with three points at Information Counter 1 to redeem one NT$50 voucher for the Halal Bazaar (limited to 200 sets, while stocks last).

Metal bookmarks will be dispatched all at once after the point collection campaign ends.

  • Epidemic security:

  1. If you are not feeling well, please stay home and self-monitor your health.

  2. Practice good hygiene and wash hands frequently.

  3. To reduce the risk of mosquito bites, it is recommended to wear light-colored long-sleeved clothes and trousers and to apply mosquito repellents approved by government containing active ingredients such as DEET, Picaridin or IR-3535 on exposed parts of the skin. If you sweat a lot, get into water or start to feel mosquito bites, you should reapply.

  • Turkish Ebru Art Experience: Ang Turkish Ebru ay isang tradisyunal na sining na ipinasa sa paglipas ng mga siglo. Ang mga pigment ay ipinapatak sa ibabaw ng tubig upang lumikha ng mga pattern at hayaan ang mga kulay na natural na dumaloy at magkabuhol. Sa huli, inililipat at ini-print ang mga ito sa papel upang makumpleto ang mga natatanging gawa. (11:50-17:00. 5 sessions, 10 tao bawat session. Kailangan ang maagang pagpaparehistro).

  • Ketupat Charm DIY workshop: Ang Ketupat ay isang mahalagang simbolo ng Eid al-Fitr Festival para sa mga Muslim sa Timog-silangang Asya. Ang bigas ay nakabalot sa loob ng isang niniting na takip, na may kahulugan ng pagpapahalaga at muling pagsasama. Damhin ang mabuting hangarin ng pagdiriwang at ang kultural na kahulugan sa pamamagitan ng paggawa ng kamay sa charm na may imahe ng Ketupat. (11:45-17:15. 6 sessions, 10 tao bawat session. Kailangan ang maagang pagpaparehistro).

Ang Taipei City Foreign and Disabled Labor Office ay makikipagdiwang ng “Eid-al-Fitr Festival” kasama ang mga kaibigang Muslim sa Exit 4 ng Daan Park. “Introduction to Indonesia’s Major Island Groups,” ang magiging paksa ng aktibidad. Magkakaroon ng mga interactive na booth na intelektwal at nakakaengganyo, na naghihikayat sa mga migranteng manggagawa at mga mamamayan na igalang ang iba sa pamamagitan ng pag-unawa, upang makamit ang pagiging inklusibo sa kultura at karaniwang kalusugan. Makilahok sa aktibidad upang manalo ng maliit na regalo, hanggang mayroon pa! Huwag mag-atubiling sumali!
