Applications for mid-level technical manpower exceeded 30,000

In order to solve the labor shortage and effectively supplement the long-term and stable workforce needed by employers, the Ministry of Labor has promoted the “Migrant Workers Retention Program” to help employers retain senior migrant workers for mid-level technical manpower jobs. So far, the number of applicants has exceeded 30,000. Approved foreign mid-level technical manpower is nearly 28,000.

中階技術人力申請破3萬人  近6成社福類

為解決缺工，有效補充雇主所需長期穩定的勞動力，勞動部推動「移工留才久用方案」，協助雇主留用資深移工從事中階技術人力工作，迄今申請人數已破3萬人、已核准外國中階技術人力則近2.8萬人。
