The Ministry of Labor held an online domestic consultation meeting for Taiwanese and Indian migrant workers on the morning of May 2 to discuss the future opening of industries, quotas and introduction methods. Among them, the introduction model alone was discussed heatedly. The meeting lasted about 3 hours. After the meeting, the Ministry of Labor explained that migrant workers Groups point out that newly opened source countries should have new practices and only adopt a single model of direct recruitment. Other family employer groups, scholars and agency groups believe that direct recruitment and the introduction of agencies should go hand in hand. 勞動部5月2日上午舉辦台印度移工國內諮詢線上會議，討論未來開放行業、名額與引進方式，其中光是引進模式討論熱烈，會議進行約3個小時，勞動部會後說明，移工團體指新開放的來源國應該有新的做法，只採行直聘單一模式，其餘家庭類雇主團體、學者與仲介團體等認為直聘與仲介引進並行，對於小規模試辦時，會選任績優仲介參與，至於試辦行業，優先考量在印度有設廠的製造業。2024/05/02
