(FWA 2025/11/5)The online registration website for the universal cash handout will open for a five-day pre-registration period from November 5 to November 9, with full registration opening on November 10.

The Ministry of Finance (MOF) urges the public to utilize the “direct deposit registration” method. By registering online, the NT$10,000 payment can be transferred directly into a designated account, which is safe, convenient, and eliminates the need to go out or wait in line.

During the first five days (Nov. 5 to Nov. 9), registration will be staggered based on the last digit of one’s ID card or ARC number:

  • November 5, 2025: 0, 1
  • November 6, 2025: 2, 3
  • November 7, 2025: 4, 5
  • November 8, 2025: 6, 7
  • November 9, 2025: 8, 9
  • From November 10, 2025: No restrictions.

The MOF stated that “direct deposit registration” will open for pre-registration at 8:00 AM on November 5, 2025. The public can use a smartphone, tablet, or computer to access the “Direct Deposit Registration” page on the official website (https://10000.gov.tw). Applicants must prepare their ID/ARC number, financial institution account number, and National Health Insurance (NHI) card number, and follow the instructions to complete the process.

If the public has any questions, they can consult the “FAQ” section on the official website or call the toll-free 1988 hotline (service hours: 8:30 AM to 6:30 PM daily).

The MOF stated that the registration period is ample, continuing until April 30, 2026.

For those who complete registration during the pre-registration period or on November 10 and pass system verification, the funds will be deposited starting from 6:00 PM on November 11 through November 12, according to each bank’s operating procedures. For those who register successfully after November 11, the funds will be deposited within two business days.

To ensure successful deposit, individuals must check their passbook, online banking, or mobile banking to confirm receipt. Starting November 13, 2025, applicants can check their registration results on the official website. If registration or deposit fails due to incorrect information, the webpage will indicate the reason and allow for re-registration. Alternatively, individuals can opt for ATM or post office pickup.

The MOF emphasizes that the government will not send text messages or emails notifying people to claim money or register, nor will it call and ask people to operate an ATM or use online banking for transfers. For all information, please refer to the official website (https://10000.gov.tw). If you encounter suspicious messages or calls, please immediately dial the 165 anti-fraud hotline or the 1988 customer service hotline to verify.
