經濟部發布最新一期中小企業白皮書。2023年臺灣中小企業家數超過167萬家，佔全體企業98%以上，創造就業逾916萬7千人，顯示中小企業仍貢獻國內絕大多數就業機會，當中以製造業近202萬人居首。中小企業所引進的移工佔比為57.69%，較上一年增加1萬餘人。
