3 conditions to note when labor brokerages charge foreign workers service fees

When foreign workers are employed in Taiwan labor brokerages can charge service fees, but only if the following conditions are met

•A contract has been signed

•The brokerage must have provided actual services

•The agency does not collect fees in advance

Maximum service fees : First year: NT$1,800 per month / Second year: NT$1,700 per month / Third year and later: NT$1,500 per month

If a labor brokerage imposes charges other than service fees, doing so could be illegal. In addition, they are not permitted to directly deduct service fees from a worker’s salary, any such action could violate labor regulations

仲介公司收取移工服務費注意3條件

在臺灣工作期間，仲介公司可以收取「服務費」，但必須符合規定：

•要有簽訂契約

•要有實際提供服務

•不能提前預收費用

服務費上限：第1年：每月1800元 / 第2年：每月1700元 / 第3年後：每月1500元
