When driving an electric two-wheel vehicle a crash helmet could save your life, but there are so many different types available on the market, which one should you choose?
Selecting the right type : Choose a crash helmet that provides 3/4 or full-face coverage as this type of helmet offers better protection for your head. Half-face helmets are not recommended because they provide less protection.
Check if the crash helmet is certified : Chose a helmet with a “CNS Mark” as that indicates it has passed national safety certification.
Pay close attention to the service life of a crash helmet : The materials helmets are made of degrade, with most remaining effective for about two years after the first use or five years from the date of manufacture. When buying a crash helmet always check the manufacturing date and if your helmet reaches its expiry date buy a new one to avoid accidents.
