It is illegal to hunt animals using poisonous materials. Anyone found in violation of this provision can be fined NT$15,000-NT$75,000
•Killing, intentionally harming, or causing injury to an animal that results in its death, serious physical harm or loss of function in vital organs can result in a sentence of up to 2 years in prison or detention and a fine of NT$200,000 to NT$2 million
•Offenders who use drugs or firearms to kill an animal face 1-5 years in prison and a fine of NT$500,000 to NT$5 million
Individuals using or managing land must fulfill their land management responsibilities by implementing appropriate management or protective measures when dealing with stray animals on their land

勿使用毒餌傷害動物
根據法律規定,捕捉動物不得使用毒物違者可處新臺幣1萬5千元以上7萬5千元以下罰鍰
