This period, 20 lucky receipts matched the winning number for the Special Prize of NT$10 million, which is 19531471. A glance at this highly anticipated list reveals that several winners struck it rich after spending mere pocket change, while others became instant millionaires simply by paying routine utility bills or purchasing mobile apps.
Small Change, Big Returns: Seven Winners Spent Under NT$100
Out of the 20 winners for the Special Prize of NT$10 million, seven spent less than NT$100. The most remarkable return on investment occurred at a FamilyMart on Keya Road in Taichung’s Daya District, where a customer spent just NT$21 on an oolong milk tea.
Other notable winners in the convenience store category included a NT$39 purchase at a FamilyMart in Nantun District (Taichung), a NT$40 drink at a Hi-Life in Wuqi District (Taichung), and a NT$45 drink at a 7-ELEVEN in Dayuan District (Taoyuan). Modest daily expenses also yielded huge payouts for individuals who purchased a NT$65 MOS Burger meal in Tamsui (New Taipei), filled up with NT$69 of gas at a CPC station in Miaoli, and paid a NT$70 Chunghwa Telecom monthly bill in Tainan.
Online Purchases and Routine Bills Yield Massive Payouts
Winning wasn’t limited to physical storefronts. The digital economy also generated major winners, with one individual spending NT$200 on the Apple App Store and another purchasing NT$129 worth of goods on Shopee.
Furthermore, diligently paying utility bills proved highly rewarding. A Taiwan Power Company electric bill (NT$441) in Taoyuan City, alongside Chunghwa Telecom monthly bills in Tainan (NT$70) and Kaohsiung (NT$1,399), all successfully secured the grand prize.
Top Spending in Chiayi; Popular Eateries Produce Winners
The highest single transaction amount among the Special Prize winners was recorded at the Ganan Feng Hua Hotel in Chiayi City’s West District, where a guest spent NT$6,299 on accommodation.
In the dining sector, familiar local chains also saw their customers hit the jackpot. Winners emerged from Bafang Dumpling (Wanhua, Taipei; NT$216), San Ma Stinky Tofu (Taoyuan; NT$230), and the popular beverage franchise 50 Lan (Kaohsiung; NT$131).
Reminder for Expats to Claim Prizes
Expats who win the Uniform Invoice Lottery can claim their prizes using their passports, Alien Resident Certificates (ARC), or other identity documents. They can also apply for a mobile barcode in advance and download the Uniform Invoice Redemption APP to easily link all carriers together, ensuring they do not miss any chance of winning. Please note that the prize claiming period is from June 6, 2026, to September 7, 2026.
