Registration Period
Registration is from now on to 5:00 PM on August 25, 2026 (Registration by mail will be based on the postmark).
Rules and Regulations
Registration Eligibility: Foreign nationals or New Immigrants who legally study or work in Taichung City can register for the competition in a group or solo. To register in groups (with a maximum of 40 groups), participants may invite Taichung citizens to join together. After registration, the organizer will verify the legal residency status before participation.
Please attach relevant identification documents with your registration form. Failure to attach documents will be considered as disqualification.
To verify each participant’s identity, the participant must present a valid identification document to the service counter when checking in at 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM on September 13, 2026 (the day of the event).
Each person is limited to one registration and may not register repeatedly. For group registration, if a group member needs to be replaced for any reason, the request must be submitted before September 11, 2026 (limited to one replacement only). Late requests will not be accepted. If duplicate registrations are found during the eligibility screening, the organizer reserves the right to disqualify the participant.
If any participant is found to have violated the relevant registration regulations, the organizer will not only disqualify the participant but also reclaim any prizes awarded. The participant may not raise any claims or objections to the organizer regarding the above.
Competition Information
Competition Time: 13:00–17:00 on Sunday, September 13, 2026 (12:00 PM – 12:30 PM for check-in)
Location: Taichung Park (No. 65, Sec. 1, Shuangshi Rd., North Dist., Taichung City)
Prize Pool: The top 4 places in the competition will be awarded.
One First-Place will get a gift voucher of NTD 15,000.
One Second-Place will get a gift voucher of NTD 10,000.
Two Third-Places will get a gift voucher of NTD 8,000.
Two Fourth-Places will get a gift voucher of NTD 5,000.
Special Prizes:
Dual Gold Harmony Award will get a gift voucher of NTD 8,000.
Best Creativity Award will get a gift voucher of NTD 3,600.
Best Stage Performance Award will get a gift voucher of NTD 3,600.
Best Costume Design Award will get a gift voucher of NTD 3,600.
Competition Rules
For the singing competition, please bring your own music (no vocals), props, and makeup.
Please prepare a copy of the relevant music on a USB flash drive and provide it to the organizer upon check-in. Music provided by the participants to the organizer for broadcast must have been legally authorized.
Each performance has a time limit of 3 minutes. The bell will ring to remind you when the timer is 2 and a half minutes, and the music will stop when the timer is exactly 3 minutes.
The entire competition will be recorded. The organizer reserves the right to record audio and video (including but not limited to interviews with participants before the event, rehearsals, behind-the-scenes footage, and the official competition), and to publicly broadcast and/or transmit the video. Participants shall not raise any claims or objections against the organizer regarding the above.

Precautions & Public Transport
A friendly reminder: No charging or parking services for electric bicycles will be provided at the event area. Riding electric bicycles and electric motorbikes within the event area is prohibited. The organizer will request the police to strengthen enforcement.
The Labor Affairs Bureau of Taichung City Government reserves the right to postpone or cancel this event. In the event of postponement or cancellation, the organizer will provide advance notice. Please provide your complete contact information so that you can receive the latest updates promptly.
Friendly space setting: In order to facilitate people with disabilities to participate in the event, accessible routes and information will be provided around the event area. Accessible toilets, friendly bus directions, and permits for guide dogs and guide puppies are provided.
