(FWA 2026/10/5) The Ministry of Finance has officially released the list of winners for the Jul-Aug 2026 Taiwan Receipt Lottery (also known as the Uniform Invoice Lottery). This period, 17 lucky receipts matched the winning number for the Special Prize of NT$10 million, which is 89996565. Additionally, 11 receipts matched the Grand Prize number of 91098182 to win NT$2 million. A glance at this highly anticipated list reveals that several winners struck it rich after spending mere pocket change, while others claimed the grand prize following high-end retail shopping.
Small Change, Big Returns: Winners Spent Under NT$50
Out of the 17 winners for the Special Prize of NT$10 million, several spent exceptionally small amounts. The most remarkable return on investment occurred via Uber in Taipei City’s Songshan District, where a customer spent just NT$10 on a processing fee. Another incredibly lucky winner spent only NT$10 on a drink at a FamilyMart in Tainan’s Yanshui District, while a customer in Taipei’s Zhongzheng District won the jackpot after spending a mere NT$27 on printing services at a 7-ELEVEN.
Luxury Shopping and Everyday Errands Yield Payouts
While many won with minimal spending, the highest single transaction amount among the Special Prize winners was recorded at the Breeze Nan Shan department store in Taipei City’s Xinyi District, where a customer spent NT$24,000 at the luxury brand LOEWE. In the NT$2 million Grand Prize category, winners also emerged from everyday purchases, including a NT$4 Uber processing fee, a NT$10 printing fee at a Songshan District 7-ELEVEN, and a NT$300 parking fee in Da’an District.
Reminder for Expats to Claim Prizes
Expats who win the Uniform Invoice Lottery can claim their prizes using their passports, Alien Resident Certificates (ARC), or other identity documents. They can also apply for a mobile barcode in advance and download the Uniform Invoice Redemption APP to easily link all carriers together, ensuring they do not miss any chance of winning. Please note that the prize claiming period is from October 6, 2026, to January 5, 2027.
