Cycling right-of-way
•Bicycles are classified as slow moving vehicles and cannot be ridden on sidewalks and covered walkways
•A bicycle can only be ridden on a sidewalk when there is a “pedestrian and bicycle shared path” sign or markings
•Zebra crossings are for pedestrians only. Cyclists are required to dismount and push their bicycles across the crossway
•Pedestrians have right-of-way when using shared pedestrian-bicycle paths
Riding on sidewalks or pedestrian crossings in violation of these regulations can result in a fine of NT$300-NT$1,200

自行車騎士看仔細! 禁止騎乘於未開放共道的人行道
騎乘路權規範
•自行車屬慢車,原則上禁止騎在人行道、騎樓
•僅在人行道設有「行人與自行車共道」標誌或標線,才可以騎
•斑馬線為行人通行專用,自行車應下車牽行
•在人車共道時,要優先禮讓行人
違規行駛人行道、行穿線或騎樓處新臺幣300至1,200元
