The Ministry of Labor provides condolence payment services

(FWA 2026/07/01)

If you experience an occupational accident, injury, or illness while at work that prevents you from working, the government will provide financial assistance

Eligibility :

•Personal injury
•Occupational accidents
•Illnesses that prevent you from working
•Death

Payments :

•One time condolence payment.
In special cases individuals can receive up to NT$100,000

Remember:
Condolence payments provide temporary assistance. Only by having National Health Insurance or Labor Insurance is more complete protection available. If you need help applying, call the 1955 Hotline
